The King Power Stadium (also known as the Leicester City Stadium due to UEFA sponsorship regulations) is a football stadium in Leicester, England. It is the home of Leicester City, the current champions of the Premier League following their title win in the 2015-16 season.
The all-seater stadium opened in 2002 and has a capacity of 32,312, the 20th largest football ground in England. The current record attendance at the stadium for football is 32,242.
It is named after travel retail group King Power,a company owned by the club's owners. The site has hosted rugby and football international matches, as well as boxing events.
